Tassel wall hanging

I am obsessed with any wool craft. I love making wall hangings, pom poms and tassels. I got this huge ball of yellow wool in Aldi. It is a really thick wool. I made a tassel wall hanging. I chose yellow because it makes the yellow flower on my William Morris wallpaper pop!

These wool tassel wall hangings are so easy to make. I think they are just gorgeous.
What you need:
- Wool
- Bamboo stick cut to size
- Good sharp scissors
- Jute twine

You can choose you own colour wool to suit the decor in the room. I chose yellow. I think a thicker ply wool works great for this project.

Cut the pieces of wool all the same size. Depending on how long you want the wall hanging.

Loop your strips of wool around the bamboo stick.

Loop the wool.

Tighten your first tassel.

Congratulations you made your first tassel. I added three more to my bamboo stick. I had four tassels. You can add as many as you want.

Tie jute twine to both ends of your wall hanging.

The last part. I trimmed my wall hanging in a V shape. I this it looks really cool. Please try this cool little craft at home.
